Funnily enough, the hardest part working with multi-cloud providers has been remembering the names of the services and what is the equivalent across each of the cloud providers.
These mappings help me when jumping between the different cloud providers, and therefore are a great reference point.
I hope this helps you to be able to link your knowledge across the different cloud providers, making it easier in your conversations, study and work.

Working in the IT industry, I frequently find that many of my friends and family approach me when it comes to anything “computer” related and they have very little knowledge about IT in general.
I find that one of the most mysterious topics for them is the Cloud. They often hear terms similar to, “it is in the cloud“, or they own devices like an iPhones and find themselves receiving messages that their “cloud storage is almost full“. In reality they don’t really know what that means or what they should do.
This post is to help those that don’t understand the Cloud, making certain terminology understandable and hopefully take away the mystery of the Cloud.

Today we operate in a environment where cyber security attacks, damages, ransom and other scary activities occur often and can absolutely cripple a business of all sizes from start-up to enterprise.
No matter your background into cloud computing, I think this certification is a MUST in the AWS certifications, it is not one of the easiest of the AWS certifications, however it will give you a good foundation and security focus when making use of the services AWS has to offer as well as design for cost-effective and fault-tolerant solutions.

2020 has been a challenging year for many people and many reasons.
However, if we focus in on the cloud and cloud training, it has been a noteworthy year.
Many cloud training providers have provided free content to help those that have been impacted due to COVID-19. While others have simply provided free content to help the wider community. It has been inspiring to see the cloud leaders and community gather together and support one another.
Cloud solutions are continuing to grow at a rapid rate. Cloud Providers like Amazon (AWS), Google (Google Cloud), and Microsoft (Azure) have been continuing to advance and providing leading cloud platforms in the industry.
There are other available platforms such as Red Hat, VMWare, Rackspace, and others that offer platforms or specialised platforms as well.
So with all of these platforms available, there is a strong and rapidly growing need for qualified and educated employees.

With that being said I would like to explain the benefits that a Cloud Development Kit (CDK) brings, and highlight why it would be an advantage for all cloud providers to support this approach and provide the relevant services, tooling and frameworks.
